SYNDNEY SURRENDER
This is not a SYDNEY SHELTON story but a complete surrender at sydney in to the hands of Australia. The wish of the curator has been fulfilled at Sydney, as Indian batsman surrendered to pacy swing trio patinson, siddle and hilfenaus showing again  the ware-horse old weakness against swing bowling. It is really heartening to see that Indian team have not learned anything from the most forgettable English summer, by now season changed so is the change in the opponents England’s ashes opponents but the result is same. Indian batsman started walking back to pavilion as soon as possible.

India were down to 191 all out, baring a gutsy half century from the Indian captain nothing to speak much. Viewers had thought that the green track will suit Indian team bowlers too, Zak responded to the call taking 3 wickets for 30 odd runs, spectators have set their mind for another great Australian debacle, but Clarke, punter and hussey had other ideas, all three of them scored at will. Clarke infact made 300 runs. The Indian bowlers never looked like troubling them.

After hussey making 150 , clarke made an sporting declaration despite he being not out on 327, Indian batsman after seeing them bat like this got some inspiration from nowhere despite viru falling to the trap very soon, gauti stood like a rock scored a patient 80, even the master blaster rose to the occasion scoring another 80, but the much anticipated 100th ton is still under wait. Guess only when he hits it(100th ton) , India’s fortune will change.

Indian batsman shown some resistance by scoring 400 runs, yet again R.Ashwin showing the top order batsman how to play on Australian track by scoring yet another half century. Ashwin played with ease much to the embarresment for the Indian top order.

Despite all these late resurgence India could settle only a innings defeat match again ended up with 4days…
A long standing of the statement, “ India always does well at SYDNEY”, is now faded.

Long since seen a 5 day cricket match..!!!
